What Documents Does My Company Need for Amazon FBA Accounting?

To ensure accurate and compliant accounting for your Amazon FBA operations, your company must provide the following documents:

1. Amazon Purchase Invoices

You must upload all purchase invoices from Amazon to your all-in-one accounting dashboard. These invoices include the fees and commissions charged by Amazon, such as:

  • Fulfillment and referral fees.
  • Subscription or advertising charges.
  • Other service-related expenses.

You can find these invoices in your Amazon Seller Account → Tax Document Library.

2. Sales Invoices (Handled Automatically)

With access to Vendorati, your sales invoices will be managed automatically. This means you don’t need to upload sales reports or individual invoices manually.

3. VAT Reports for Other EU Countries

If your company has VAT registrations in other EU countries, you must upload the VAT reports or declarations from those countries to your dashboard. These are typically provided by your local tax advisor or VAT service provider.

4. Annual Report Information

At the end of the financial year, we’ll ask you for an estimate of the value of goods stored in Amazon warehouses as of December 31. This helps ensure your annual accounts reflect the correct stock value.

5. Optional Documents

Your accountant may occasionally request additional files during monthly accounting if needed for clarification or compliance.
