Does Companio support e-invoicing (B2B) in the EU?
Companio currently provides standard digital invoicing through its dashboard.
At this stage, full structured e-invoicing (such as country-specific B2B formats required in certain EU jurisdictions) is not yet integrated into the platform.
It’s important to understand that e-invoicing mandates in the EU are generally applied at a local level. For example, some countries require domestic B2B companies to issue structured e-invoices under national legislation. However, foreign companies are not typically subject to those local mandates. Foreign suppliers invoicing customers in those countries are often outside the scope of domestic B2B mandates, although obligations may vary depending on VAT registration status, permanent establishment, or specific local rules. Clear case:
We continuously monitor regulatory developments across all jurisdictions where we operate. If a country where Companio offers services (such as Estonia, Bulgaria, Ireland, or Spain) introduces mandatory e-invoicing requirements for our clients, we will ensure compliance through appropriate platform updates or integrations.
E-invoicing integration is part of our long-term product roadmap, and we will implement it when legally required or when it delivers meaningful value to our clients.
Our goal remains simple: To remove bureaucracy, not add complexity.
If you’re unsure whether your company is affected by local e-invoicing rules, our team can guide you based on your jurisdiction and business activity.
