Does Companio Support Crypto Wallets Or Transactions?

Companio supports businesses with a specific set of crypto activities or performing certain crypto transactions in our PREMIUM plan. It is important for you to understand the conditions in which you can operate with crypto, and the transactions and activities supported.

Join the PREMIUM plan



First, crypto activities are only allowed in the PREMIUM plan, so make sure to contact our Customer Support team and ask them to upgrade to the PREMIUM plan. If you plan to operate with crypto, it may be easier for you to just go ahead and link your first crypto wallet in Companio.

Activities supported



Companio supports a limited set of crypto activities and transactions in the Premium plan, including:

Receiving and sending crypto payments for business purposes, including paying for expenses in crypto and receiving sales in crypto. The business must own a corporate wallet for all cryptocurrencies it uses, separated from any other wallet belonging to any particular or other company.
Investing in supported exchanges. The business must open a dedicated corporate wallet or account.
Exchanging crypto through approved banking channels (example, Revolut Business). Only for corporate bank accounts that support this exchange within the own balances of the account.

The following business models and activities are not supported in the Premium plan (or any other plan).

NFT-related activities
ICOs/IPOs
Launching cryptocurrency exchanges
Cryptocurrency mining operations
