How to Add a New Payment Method?
Adding a payment method allows Companio to charge your monthly subscription fee automatically.
You can add one or multiple payment methods to your account. We recommend adding a secondary payment method as a backup, so that payments can still be processed if your primary method fails for any reason (for example, due to insufficient funds, expiration, or bank restrictions).
Adding a new payment method is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:
- Click on your avatar icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- Go to Settings → Billing. You'll see a button labeled "Add New Payment Method." Click on it.

- Select the payment method that suits you best - a card or SEPA direct debit. Then, fill in the required fields with the relevant information, such as card number or IBAN. You can create a new virtual card if you choose this payment method.
- Once you've completed all the fields, click on "Save credit card."

Rejected Payment Methods
If your payment method has been rejected by your bank, expired, or blocked, future payments using that same method will usually continue to fail.
In this case, you should add a different payment method to ensure that your next payments can be processed successfully and to avoid any interruption to your service.
