Troubleshooting problems and issues with signature on Companio's dashboard

If you are having trouble signing on Companio's Dashboard using your ID-Card, this guide will help you identify the problem and resolve the most common issues.

In most cases, the issue is related to DigiDoc not detecting the card, browser configuration problems, missing browser plugins or browser cache/session issues


1. Verify That DigiDoc Detects Your ID-Card

First, connect your ID-card using the USB card reader and open DigiDoc. Please verify that:

  • Your card is detected
  • Your name appears correctly
  • The Authentication Certificate is valid
  • The Signing Certificate is valid


If DigiDoc does not detect your card, or the certificates are missing or invalid, please contact ID-Help directly.


2. Test Your Card on eesti.ee

If DigiDoc detects your card correctly, the next step is to verify whether the authentication works outside Companio.


  • Visit eesti.ee, choose language English at the top right, then click on "Log Into Self-Service".


  • Choose ID-Card and entering your PIN 1.


Check if you can log into eesti.ee


If you can, this means that your card and DigiDoc are working correctly, and that your browser authentication is functioning properly.


However, if you still cannot sign in Companio's Dashboard, please contact our support team and report the issue.



If you CANNOT log into eesti.ee


If DigiDoc detects your card but you still cannot log into eesti.ee, the problem is usually related to your browser configuration.

The most common reasons the absence or misconfiguration of the plugin, or the need to restart the browser or clear the cache.


Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

  • Make sure the ID-card browser plugin is correctly installed and enabled in your browser.
  • Clear your browser cache completely and try signing in again.
  • Sometimes browser extensions or cached sessions interfere with authentication. Please try logging in using incognito mode.
  • Try using another browser.


If nothing works and you cannot enter eesti.ee, please contact ID-Help directly.
