Understanding My Monthly To-Do List in Companio
Your Home section is the heart of your all-in-one accounting dashboard. It helps you stay on top of your accounting every month by showing you what needs to be done, when, and where.
Each month follows the same simple accounting cycle, divided into clear steps:
From the 1st to the 5th: Invoices and Movements
During the first days of the month, this section is active.
Here you can:
- Upload your sales and purchase invoices of the previous month.
- Check if your bank accounts are connected.
- Upload bank statements if needed.
These actions make sure your accounting for the previous month is complete and ready for review.
From the 6th to around the 20th: Submitting Reports
Once the upload period closes, this section will open automatically.
Here you can see the status of your monthly reports, such as:
- Preparation → reports are being prepared.
- Prepared → reports are ready.
- Not needed → this report does not apply to your business.
The Invoices and Movements section will now show whether all your actions were completed on time (Completed) or if something was missed (Outdated).
After reports are submitted: Payment of Taxes
Once your reports are ready, this section activates if a tax payment applies.
It will display:
- The type of report to be paid.
- A reference number for the payment.
- A link to a Knowledge Base article with the instructions and payment details.
If no payment is due, the status will show Not needed or Taxes paid if it’s already done.
