My Payment Method Has Been Blocked. What Can I Do?
There are several reasons why your bank may block a card. The most common reasons are:
Suspicious activity. Suppose the bank detects unusual activity on your account or suspicious transactions. In that case, they may block the card as a security measure to protect your funds.
Loss or theft of the card. If you lose or your card is stolen, and you call your bank to report it, they'll first block it so that no one can use it.
Lack of payment. If you have outstanding payments in your account, the bank may block your card until you make the corresponding payment.
Incorrect use. If you use the card in a way that does not comply with the bank's terms and conditions, such as withdrawing more money than there is at the bank, they may also block your card.
Anyway, if your card is blocked, you should contact your bank to find the reason and resolve the problem as soon as possible.
Once the reason is determined and resolved, you have to add a new payment method.
If you choose the card option, you can create a virtual card.
